The music styles featured on "Untitled Nite" are electronic, drum and bass (dnb), and industrial.
VT.inno’s thunderous broken dance beats, randomized arpeggios, and inharmonic sounds morph and pulsate like a living organism. The intensity ranges from sparse to dense like a chaotic, free jazz ensemble of synthesizers.
“Untitled 1” opens with a wisping fragment of 4/4 percussion. Layers of melody and low thuds are soon swimming around each other. The rhythm falls away as the piece fades into an echo.
“V into T” with a bright keyboard arpeggio increases the intensity, reminiscent of early video game music. Large kick drums burst through all of the sounds in a syncopated 110 bpm rhythm.
“Untitled Nite” marks the transition into faster drum and bass like tempos. The drum patterns are like a machine with missing gears: empty space followed by clusters of drum strokes. The background reveals a recording of an ancient Chinese flute distinct from the synthetic sounds.
The fast rhythm of “Untitled More” is emphasized even more by a dissonant 4 note loop that changes in tone and timbre. Dense layers of other harmonies and inharmonic sounds require a huge snare and punchy kick drum to cut through the mix.
“Untitled Random” eases into bassline melody and features similar percussion fragments to the opening track. The timbre is distorted but the tone becomes something uplifting and powerful.
